Ivermetin Use

General Discussion The Mayo Clinic page on Ivermectin has a thorough discussion of side effects, recommended dosage, etc. They recommend a dosage of 150ug (mcg) per kg of body weight.  The anti-viral and anti-parisitic pages below mention dosages of 0.2 mg/kg and 200ug/kg, 0.2mg  = 200ug.  I did the math and made a chart using the Mayo recommended dosage, and a calculator which lets you select 150ug/kg or 200ug/kg. Since many of the calculated dosages are not commonly offered, and since we have never seen any evidence of anyone overdosing on Ivermectin, we recommend dosages based on a ranges of body weights ( as the anti-parasitic page shows ).  Anti-Viral Usage A five-day course of ivermectin may reduce the duration of COVID-19 illness "The highest dose of Ivermectin that we have used in our study is 12 mg (200 µg/kg) once daily for 5 consecutive days, which resulted in a significantly shorter time for viral clearance."   Anti-Parisi...
